FUCK! Fuck fuck fuck fucking fuck being stuck at home for the summer! Fucking bullshit!
Yes, I love my husband. I enjoy spending time with him and our pets very much. But I also love working and I am so frustrated and restless. It's killing me watching my friends post pics of their rehearsals and shows on Facebook or tweeting about travelling to their gigs. I really am genuinely happy for my performer friends who are working especially with the arts so much in jeopardy. Most of them are non-union but a few are union which makes it an even greater accomplishment to be employed. But I feel like I am watching life through a window and it's really breaking me down. I have my moments of clarity where I can see things rationally and I know that it is all temporary but then I have those angry, pity-party moments.
I apparently didn't get the receptionist job sadly. Working where they have an office dog would have been fun. I do have another interview Friday for an office job closer to home. And in classic Pennsyltucky fashion the lady gave me directions to the place and then told me to look for the building with the giant chicken on top. Ummmmm.
