Random Notes in My 2008 Day Timer

Big fat mooseballs! (an exclamation made by my friend Cara)

Passion for & on the job (I have no idea what this is in reference to)

Ask Marc, Meg or Ensemble (telling myself to see what the director who knows me would rather consider me for so I could choose an appropriate song to sing. I didn't book the show so...NEITHER!)

"I wasn't trying to kill you, my ass was meowing." (amazing quote from my husband that almost made me pee I was crying so hard)

Fruitful shopping experience (coming up with quips for a radio gig as the Strawberry Square Shopping Diva)

"That's a plane. Flying saucers go backwards." (Mike again, explaining what I was seeing in the night sky)

"I heard you on the radio and almost drove my car into a telephone poll." (Mark in a Mrs. Doubtfire voice on my voicemail describing hearing my live commercial read on the radio)

"Steve Perry isn't dead you asshole!" (Bryden explaining why praying to Steve Perry instead of God or her grandmother didn't make sense)

Payday! Yea!

Yizemakookiewow (no idea, can anyone shed light on this?)

2 employees standing out front smoking (me doing a mystery shopping assignment)

"I want to make a house on your boobs!" (Adam Newborn, my "pocket gay" explaining just how much he loves my chest)

Loves it when groundhogs scamper (I believe this was a status update idea)

Siting in the park w/ an Orangina, reading Backstage & reveling in the fact that I'm a working actor and in NYC on a gorgeous August day

Fiercest turkey burger on the East Coast (about NY Style eats in Queens)

"I think we should all be communists." (Ludicrous soundbite I heard on the 6 train)

Pigtails, pillow fights and cookie dough (summing up an evening with Shelley)

Things I learned: Clayton is a tranny hooker (Summing up a conversation with my director on the way to L.A. to see 9 to 5)

Citrus orchards and vineyards lining 99 North (driving through California)

Starbucks is the same in every city

I heart plate tectonics (driving through Colorado)

Devil's Tower (passing it in Wyoming, very cool, felt like I was in Close Encounters)

Loaf n' jug (what Turkey Hill is called in the North)

Open new UC claim (thanks to some layoffs it was time to claim unemployment again)

"Git out the way and stop hittin yerself in the head!" (Amazing soundbite I heard at a McDonald's in Mississippi)

"I've killed everyone on the cast bus and scattered their disembodied remains along the Louisiana highway" (text I sent to the crew after 2 days on the bus)

"Christ was not crucified on a candy cane." (Chris Lukos, our Bill Sykes, pondering why candy canes are such a prominent image at Christmastime)
